What is your favorite Emory tradition?

My favorite Emory tradition has to be the Midnight Pancakes event during finals week. After studying for hours, it is so rewarding to get to eat good food with friends and relax!

What has been your most impactful class?

My most impactful class has been my sociolinguistics class where we focused on the overlap between language and race. It was a class that pushed me out of my comfort zone by encouraging me to ask more questions about topics I was unaware of in the past. It also allowed me to dive deeper into why language is so powerful in our society.
