Going for walks! I love wandering around campus between classes and during my free time. There are so many lovely outdoor spaces and places to study at Emory, and going for walks is a great way to decompress and run into friendly faces.

What is your favorite Emory tradition?

Lots of people say the same, but Songfest! It was where I met some of the people who have become my closest friends, and it helped me find a community during the first few weeks and feel at home at Emory. It's also so much fun to listen to the other halls' routines and practice your own.

What has been your most impactful class?

My freshman seminar, Atlanta Politics with Dr. Crabtree! The small class size helped me meet so many amazing people, and I learned so much about my new home and its history. The professor was also wonderful and incredibly helpful guiding us as we transitioned to college and adjusted to Emory.

My favorite thing to do in Atlanta is...

Atlanta has a great selection of indie bookstores, and I love to visit them and explore new ones (Charis and A Cappella are two of my favorites). There's also so many great restaurants to visit in the city and around the area, and I'm always happy to try a new spot to eat.
