What is your favorite Emory tradition?

My favorite Emory tradition is the weekly farmer's market which sets up every Tuesday on Cox Hall Bridge from 11 am to 3 pm. The community of local vendors, students, faculty, and staff feels lively and relaxed - nothing brings people together like food!

My favorite thing to do in Atlanta is...

I love visiting the Atlanta Shakespeare Tavern and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra! The city is full of artistic talent, and thanks to student discounts, all of it is accessible.

What has been your most impactful class?

Every class has left its mark, but Shakespeare in the Age of #MeToo pushed me to think critically and carefully about misogyny in both history and academia. The course deconstructed my ideas of feminist scholarship and built them back up with more compassion, nuance, and relevance.

On a random day, you're most likely to find me….

Mentally, I'm probably in Ancient Greece or Rome, but physically, I'm likely in the Ebrik Coffee Room above the Carlos Museum, the Emory Writing Center, or the Atwood Chemistry Building Atrium.

I'm passionate about...

Reading Writing Yoga Self Defense Teaching
