My favorite Emory tradition is Wonderful Wednesday! I love getting to see all the different clubs and organizations at Emory set up at Asbury Circle. I also sometimes get free drinks and food from all the different stands which is always a bonus:)
I love to explore new restaurants! One of my favorite places to do this is at Ponce City market which has a ton of different food stands and places to eat. I also love to go thrifting and to vintage stores with my friends at Little Five Points and around the greater Atlanta area. I have found some of my favorite clothing pieces while thrifting in Atlanta with my friends.
In the Banjo Coffee shop located within the Woodruff Library. I think that they have the best drinks on campus, and you can typically find me ordering a Dirty Chai latte before class.
My most impactful class has been History 241: Slave Revolts in North America. In this class, I have learned how to uncover and learn the stories of enslaved people, whose stories were often silenced in the past. Every class involved a discussion about the assigned material and I was able to learn from my peers as well as the professor which I loved.
