Major: Nursing

What has been your most impactful class?

My most impactful class has been my Child Development psychology class. As a nurse who's interested in working with children, I had the opportunity to learn about how children grow and learn at varying ages. This class also had a Theory Practice/Service learning component so I served at a learning center for children with emotional and behavioral disabilities. It was an eye-opening experience!

On a random day, you're most likely to find me….

At the courts practicing with my tennis club, working alongside nurses at the hospital or training for half-marathons with my Atlanta Run Club friends.

My favorite thing to do in Atlanta is...

Explore new restaurants and shops in the city with friends! Whenever I'm craving Asian food, I like to visit the H-mart grocery store with my friends and pick up items that remind me of home.

What is your favorite Emory tradition?

One of my favorite Emory traditions is called the Dinner with 12 Strangers. It's when different Emory alumni host small groups for dinners at their homes. I was invited over to an Emory alumni's flat where him and his wife made us a homecooked meal. With eleven other undergraduates and PHD students, we shared about our life and experiences at Emory.

I'm passionate about...
